Toby Bear
Genre: Claymation
Film Type: Shortfilm Series
Budget: $250
Description: The adventures of Toby Bear is a spinoff of some experiments I was doing using clay animation. I'm not sure how many episodes as stop-motion animation takes a very long time to make, but I enjoy seeing the results. For now I'm making a few clay animations starring Toby Bear in between my other projects. Check the main page or here for the newest episodes.

I have plans for a Toby Bear DVD release. After episode 3, all the new Toby Bear shorts will only be available at film festivals and the DVD. Also I'm taking production pictures behind the scenes to include in an Extras section of the DVD. Also there will be a director's commentary, and even a "How to make your own Toby Bear" out of clay section.

Update 1/17/2005 - As of right now I do not have the studio space to make additional Toby Bear claymation movies. So for the meantime, while space is limited, I've decided to port Toby Bear over to Flash animation. Look at the bottom of this page for the link to Toby Bear Animation, where Toby continues his adventures in Flash cartoons.

MTV Commercial Toby Bear:
MTV Commercial
Runtime 00:00:10 This was an MTV commercial made for the My MPeg/MPEG US contest of 2003. Too bad MTV missed this one in their upload directory. The contest rules were that it had to be at a 320x200 resolution, 15 fps, could not be over 10 seconds long, and you had to use music which was downloaded from selected site. I remixed the music with 2 of the songs and have Toby Bear dancing the nice away with his blob buddies at the Toby Bear nightclub.
